Testing and Quality Control Department

The company has qualified financial and human means to work in various fields of consultation through an integrated laboratory for testing the mechanics of soil, rocks, and concrete, geotechnical exploration, and monitoring the quality of materials to improve the level of technical quality of projects. Through laboratory and field tests, the company provides geotechnical consultations and services in each of the following fields:

-Evaluation of existing and damaged buildings

-Earth works and foundation works

-Roads and transportation

-Concrete dams

-Railway

-Bridges and tunnels

-Pumping stations and feeding channels

-Airports and their own airstrips

-Preparing geotechnical reports

The company also owns a drilling machine to test soil layers and geotechnical tests to depths of up to 60 metres

This department works through trained technical staff and consultants in the field of specialization, and through devices and equipment to test the properties of materials and obtain the required accurate results that enable sound judgment on the quality of materials and work carried out and whether they have been accepted or rejected.

The quality of the engineering properties of construction materials is considered one of the most important factors that affect the quality of construction.

To obtain high quality implementation according to standard specifications, the engineering properties of materials are measured by taking samples and conducting the necessary laboratory experiments, in order to verify their quality and actual engineering specifications, then comparing the test results with the specifications required for implementation, in order to accept or reject those materials.

Concrete tested

Through the concrete laboratory, tests can be conducted to evaluate concrete mixtures and concrete cubes, building evaluation tests, and prepare reports on the condition of concrete structures, the damage they sustained, and the method of treating them. The company can conduct the following tests:

-Concrete slump test

- Granulomatous detachment

-Bleeding

-Compressive strength test for hardened concrete

-Determine the locations of the rebar

-Detecting internal cracks and determining their locations and width
